We love being part of this competition, as we get to learn from, and be inspired by, courageous entrepreneurs with new business ideas for creating a better world. This year certainly lived up to that promise!
Now in its 4th year, the Early Ethical Enterprise Pitch Competition gives finalists the opportunity to pitch their new or emerging business idea for 5 minutes to judges and the audience of the Ethical Enterprise Conference.
Check the video below to sample the vibe and excitement.
As a partner of the competition, Red Hat Impact helps judge the pitches and choose a winner. We also award our own prize to one of the finalists – 6 free months working with us to assist with taking the next steps in successfully implementing their idea.
The winner this was Nature Freedom, an inspiring not for profit social enterprise organisation supporting and connecting young people between 18 and 35 with disabilities finding meaningful access to environmental projects and inclusive adventure activities.
Red Hat Impact selected Jaunt for its award. Jaunt creates beautiful electric vehicles for adventure. Recycling iconic four-wheel-drives and building simple to drive, silent and fun electric vehicles to explore Australia through community carshare. We are excited to be working with Dave and Marteen to help them realise their big ambitions over the next 6 months.
